Inside the Fog of War - Reports From the Ground in Afghanistan - NYTimes.com

A six-year archive of classified military documents made public on Sunday offers an unvarnished, ground-level picture of the war in Afghanistan that is in many respects more grim than the official portrayal.

The secret documents, released on the Internet by an organization called WikiLeaks, are a daily diary of an American-led force often starved for resources and attention as it struggled against an insurgency that grew larger, better coordinated and more deadly each year.

This will no doubt be the news of the day tomorrow and beyond. It's possible this could be so influential as to alter the course of American foreign policy or the upcoming elections.

Issues like this separate the democrats (lower case d) from the authoritarians. No doubt, the alleged 'conservatives' in the Republican Party will immediately enter the fray with arguments about how the State needs to keep the sheeple in the dark as it relates to the crimes of the State - after all, it is a fundamental right for the Mundanes to choose their masters. You just aren't allowed to know what they do in your name and with the property they have looted from you.

All for your own good of course, as decided by the masters.

Expect the opposite rhetoric from the Big D Democrats, and the exact same actions, as always.
